FIRST PAPER SSC JE
Computer Based Objective Type This test is for 200 marks.
It consists of three sections. They are:
1) General Intelligence and Reasoning 50 Questions - 50 marks
2) General Awareness 50 Questions - 50 Marks
3) General Engineering 100 Questions - 100 Marks
Exam Questionnaire in English and Hindi.  In Paper-I, each wrong answer is deducted 1/4 marks.  The time given for the 200 questions in Paper-I is only 120 minutes.  Candidates should take into consideration the preparation of the Preparedness Plan, Conceptual Learning and proper guidance of Computer Based Exams.

Based on Normalized Marks in Paper-I qualify for Paper-2 Examination.  The first 50 questions in Paper I include general intelligence reasoning.  These questions will test the candidate's Logical thinking, Problem solving skills, Mental ability and Visual skills.  - This section will ask questions from number series, Add one out, Directio, & Distance, Statement & Conclusions, Blood relations, Paper folding, etc.
The next 50 questions are about General Awareness.  They are a way of testing the candidate's perception of power, the current world and the country.  This section contains questions on History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Physical Sciences, Computers, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and more.  - One hundred marks is crucial for candidates who want to get employment.  -Technical students may find it difficult to read these in academics on a regular basis.  But as a plan, with easy guidance and continuous practice, you can easily score marks.  - The last one hundred marks will contain questions related to the student engineering department.
General Engineering Questions: One hundred marks for Electrical section students.  -Bacis Electricity -Magnetic Circuit -AC Fundamentals -Measuring Instrument -Machines -Power Systems -Estimation & Costing -Utiligation -Basic Electronics Ask for Subjects.  These are more questions from Machines & Power Systems.  - Many electrical students leave electronics as their subject.  Properly prepared, easy marks can be achieved.  The questions asked in Basic Engineering are at the average E CET level.

Example:
Q. An alternating wave of the form factor is a) Average value Rms value b) Rms value Average value c) Rms value Average value d) Rms value average value Ans: C

Civil Engineering SSC JE
