NEET.. National Eligibility Come Entrance Test
The National Level Examination for admission to MBBS and BDS and other medical related courses in hospitals across the country is NEET. The NTA NEET will be held on May 3 for admissions for the 2020 school year. A preliminary statement on this has been released. Applications are due to begin on December 2nd.
NEET: The rank in this entry is taken as the basis for admission to UG courses in all medical colleges in the country. The test is conducted in 154 towns nationally. The center also announced that the admissions for ZipMar and AIIMS will be made this year with a NEET score.
What courses are offered?
MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BVSC & AH. NEET qualifies for medical education abroad. Seats Details: According to MCI, there are 75,893 MBBS seats in 529 colleges. According to DCI, there are 26,693 BDS seats in 313 dental colleges. There are 1205 AIIMS and 200 seats in ZipMar. The number may increase / decrease this year. 15% of the all India quota and 85% of the seats will be replaced at the state level quota. 100% seats in Deemed, Central, ESIC and AFMC are replaced with NEET score.
Who can write this test?
Indian Medical Council rules should be 17 years as on 31st December 2019. - Those who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English subjects in the Intermediate or Current Course or who have passed the Intercontinental Examination in March 2020 are also eligible to write the examination. General candidates have to pass Inter 50% marks, SC, ST, OBC-NCL candidates 40% and PHC 45%.
Examination Method:
The test duration is three hours. Examination is conducted in pen and paper / offline mode. -All 180 Objective Questions. 720 marks. These include Physics-45, Chemistry-45 and Biology-90 questions. -Physics 45 questions 4 of 180 marks. -Chemistry 180 questions for 4 questions per 45 questions. - Biology 360 questions for 4 of 90 questions. -There is a negative marking mechanism. For every wrong answer, one person is deducted. - Questionnaire is also offered in local languages, including English.
NOTE: The NEET test has a dress code. Half sleeves and long sleeves are not allowed. Come to the test center with a custom / cultural dress. Slippers, sandals, and loheels are allowed. Do not allow testing with the shoe. Similarly jewelery, amulets, water bottles, belts, caps, watches, etc., are not allowed into the testing center.
Details of candidates who wrote last year's examination:
15,19,375 applied for NEET last year, 14,10,754 passed the examination. -Eims and ZipMar entries are also made by the NEET score, which is likely to increase this time.
